Am I going to need a re-tune?
I am putting new 9:1 CP pistons in and timing belt/gaskets/seals, I am curious if I will need to have it re tuned? The tuning it had before was fine and set to good specs... Would I or should it not be a problem? thanks

Personally, I don't startup a car or drive it until i have a wideband on it to monitor. If you have that... and can keep an on it... you'll probably be fine to drive to the tuner.

Correct. Make sure you have a wideband and I would stay out of boost. Make sure you are running at least 14.7:1 to a 15.9:1 a/f while driving in vacuum. If you get close to 0psi you will want to be around a 13.0:1 a/f.
Other than that, you should be fine.

Well I dont have a wideband, jeez this is frustrating, i have been away from my car for 3 weeks now putting these new parts in, its practically a fresh motor now, i mean I could try my best to stay outta boost on my way to the shop which is like a 2 hr drive becuz thats the closest for me.

Same compression and all? Was this just a replace with identical parts refresher? If so... you'll probably be fine and quite close... but I'd still recommend a retune.

everything is just a refresh, i swapped out the original oem pistons with CP forged pistons all the same size i didnt do a bore change or anything... I just want to know if it will all be ok, but yes eventually i will get to the tune shop and have it retuned or if it even needs it...

You changed piston design, composition and compression... it will need it. You did rods also right?
