I tryed searching but I couldnt come up with to much. I have this problem for when I start it up its really bogging down for the first 1-2 minutes, then idles ok. It has this almost loud knock, in the head by the #2 piston. The compression test was good, the timing is perfect, I just got done changing basically the ignition system, right along with alot of other things. It sounds like the knock is coming from the intake side. It also happens every time you rev it up then let it go back to idle, the sound is extremly loud, we looked at the head with the cover off, it looked fine. We've done all that we know of to find out what the problem is, without tearing the head done yet.

Any help???

 

Have you checked to see if your valve lashes are in spec?
