So for the last couple of days. I have been drivin my civic hatch, with an lsv. Sometimes I noticed that it didnt sound like vtec was engaging. Even though on my VAFC that I have it says ON, or OFF when its engaged so I know the pcm is telling it to work at the right time. But I just dont hear it. Would that be a selenoid problem?

Possibly, but i tihnk the light comes on from the pre-set rpm in the vafc. It could be a loose connection from the vafc harness at the ecu harness.

 

I thought about that. My buddy installed it. GOod luck at Wyotech. I went there. It was OK.

 

Thats what i think it is, i've installed a vafc before and connections matter, lol. Im goin to a community one here in VA now ,lol. Its ranked like 3rd in the nation and my parents will pay so thats my route now, but its still for automotive
