cut your stock springs about 2-3 coils all around, seriously... and cut the bump stops in half too, thats just about the only way to drop your car on stock suspension...

oh im sorry do you know a better way to drop a car using stock suspension? cause thats what his question was and thats what i was answering, it clearly states that in my response so read more next you talk **** noob.

ive been doing this little "honda thing" for about 8 years now so you can STFU, it actually works and rides decent if done right, i now cause 8 years ago that was pretty much your only option to get the slammed look... anyways im done with you...

"Slammed" and "works" and "rides decent" are mutually exclusive terms, especially if cut springs are involved...

ok now you know what i mean, its not gonna ride like a caddy, but it will ride better than ebay coilovers on stock shocks... have you done this on a civic? seriously its not that bad, ive had a lot of different suspension setups on 4 different civics and that was certainly NOT the worse setup... there is no reason to go the cut spring route in this day and age but back in the day it was the norm...

But how many dampers did you try with those springs? I'll bet the springs were fine but it's the dampers that weren't...

lol blinx, you're still ghetto. LMFAO @ putting the thumbs up after saying "cut your stock springs."

And YOU need to learn how to read, you read it as if he wanted to be lowered on stock suspension. I read it the correct way, he stated that he currently has stock suspension, but he's not sure how low he should go because he and his brother weighs a lot.

Yeah, i agree with ^^, cut springs arent bad when paired with good working shock and strut. I bought my car with egay coilover sleeves on stock shocks/struts and the ride was trash compared to my buddies who we had cut his stock springs. The ebays ruined my shocks so much that the tire wouldnt lift off the ground when we went to jack up the car. Plus, whats to lose, if you mess up buy new ones, its worth a shot trying if it fits your preferences.
