Hey everyone, got a slighty weird dilema. Have a S300 on my GSr, the ecu works, light is green on ECU, the car runs (untuned). The problem i have is that the s300 ECU will not link to my laptop, nor will it link to my tuner's laptop, BUT, have another friend with laptop and it links all day long to his laptop...have tried all the USB ports on mine and my tuners computers but nothing...all drivers are updated etc, any ideas???? In the mean time i have to coordinate with my friend and my tuner in order to have a working laptop and that has been an unsuccessful mission in itself thusfar!!! Thanks guys!

 

try using a diferent serial cable if you haven't already, thats usually the problem!

I think you mean USB :-)


Read the help file, you should try "updating" your usb drivers.

If your still having trouble try contacting the vendor you purchased the unit from or hondata directly for technical support.

 

Thanks for the imput, im going to tune the car today and will try anoter cable i will let you know how it goes.
