Default 94 hatch weird idle issue

I checked and couldn't find anything on this. I bought a 94 hatch cx with a blown HG. I fixed that and changed, spark plugs and tonight i am changing the cap and rotor and fuel filter. When I first start the car it seems to idle a lil higher than normal but goes away after it's warms up. I mean I have owned several honda's and none idled this one idles higher than norm. Plus when I come to a red light the idle will jump a lil for a few minutes then goes back to normal. So my question is why is it doing this, it doesn't seem like a vacum as that would be constint right? Thanks for the help guys....

It's not a surging idle is it? If it raises @ a stop...might just be a vac line.

i had a problem like this and it was in my ecu. my buddy had a chipped p28 and it had a launch control and he wanted to see what it would be like and as soon as we put it in my car car it stopped having a idle like a vacuum leak. maybe try that out

ya but it only does it from time to time not everytime....that's the odd thing. So it doesn't seem like a vacum line or ecu, that's why I'm so lost here. I just changed the fuel filter and thermostat and it seemed to get a lil better too...WTF

Theres a valve called the fitv, and its is a common cause for a hunting idle. Many times you can clean it and be done, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1564019. I've done this before and it helped me
