yes you need to change to a gsr throttle cable since its longer than your current one....you can use the stock harness but you might need to extend a few wires to reach sensors and you have to add a plug and wiring for the secondary butterflies....or for not much money buy the 00 gsr wire harness

with obd1 i think you will need to wire the dizzy for obd1 as i think the harnesses are different and you will need to get a jumper for the ecu

yes you need to get a gsr throttle cable, and yes you can reuse your wiring harness but you will have to extend a few wires and you will have to wire in your butterflies or else get an ecu that doesn't read for butterflies. What i am doing with my swap is just getting a chipped ecu that doesn't read for butterflies, knock or o2 sensors so i could just reuse my old harness and it was plug and play, no extending wires or anything. I don't have to get through emissions though.

you cant use the gsr wire harness in your 00 civic.. but you can get it and cut the connectors off that your going to need.. ie. the IAB. seeing that you have an EX.. you dont need to wire for vtec or knock.. i dont remember if the EX IACV has the 2 wire or not.. i think it was just the LX/DX that had the 3 wire.. you should just have to change the crank position sensor.. on the oil pump. and add the wires in the the IAB. youre going to have to extend a couple wires.. always solder and heat shrink.. no ghetto black tape job.

yes you can use the GSR wire harness....OBD1 and OBD2 have the same connectors at the shocktower.....they are essentially the same harness the only diff is added sensors like crank position and the IAT sensor is in the intake tube instead of the IM......if the engine and ECU are a 00 then it is OBD2B which is the same for the 00 Civic.....
