My Y8 Manifold had an IACV on it, the Automatics have it built into the Throttle Body, the manual Y8's *96-00 SOHC Vtec motor* , had them on the back of the manifold just like your CX one, infact, I just took all the sensors off my CX manifold and put them onto my Y8 manifold. (I had a 92 CX with a 98 D16Y8 head on it)

Yea, thats your problem, you got it off an automatic car, you will have to drill out the mounts on the back of the intake manifold to fabricate it to work.

Your car will not run worth a **** without an IACV hooked up.
