Now ima have my uncle come who installed the fart cannon and have him install the
stock one i have in the backyard. (ive been meaning to change them either way, so its not so bad.)

You mean it fell off? As in the muffler has no issue, your weld/clamp job had the issue?

I've had a fart can ebay muffler one for half a year now and no problems except where the shop poorly welded my pipe.

 

well i got the muffler for free, used off my uncle.
and the welding job was done well, its the mounting bracket can off the can itself.

 

If it's a fart can it more than likely didn't have any brackets on it when you got it, unless it was a nice brand. Again, that comes down to welding the brackets on, not the muffler itself.

Don't blame the muffler if it came just a round thing by itself. Yea, mine touches my bumper at the moment, but it's because the shop didn't mount the brackets at the right angle.

 

when i take it off ima post some pix soon so you guys can see what im talking about.

the can itself came with its own bracket. but for some reason unknown it snapped.
it seems to be a bad weld form the factory.

 

Ok, I'm not bashing you or anything, just from experience the ones Ive had either come with a universal wrap hanger (Magnaflow) or nothing at all. The muffler shop I go to welds brackets on for me and they look like stock ones, they just didn't position them very well.

I just back the cheap stuff to a certain extent because I use that kind of stuff and have never had issues.

 

Basically your cheap and now you suddley realized that 1mm wall ebay muffler isn't gonna hold up to the harsh environment of a car exhaust system. Maybe that has something to do with why most quality systems are 500+.

or you're an idiot and can't read. OP clearly said that he got the muffler for FREE from his uncle. And he even said that he was putting the stock one back on regardless. And is suddley a word?
