????????what do i do with my harness for jdm h22???????
i came into a big problem today... so what do you do about a harness for your jdm h22? i have the h23 harness but people are telling me to get a obd2 harness or a vtec 5 speed accord harness... my friend tells me that my vtec wont work unless i have it... what should i do about a harness... what did yall do about a harness for your jdm swap?.... all the information helps....
chekc the FAQ's at the top of the page for further details, but yes the h23 harness will work for the most part, you will just need to take the connectors from the jdm harness that connect to the vtec solenoid and pressure switch and run 2 wires to the ecu and 1 wire to ground. thats it
lol im sorry but what do you mean by "run wires to the ecu"?...hmmmm so when i have my motor in and i put all the wire harnesses back just as if it were the h23?... and where is the vtec solonoid and pressure plugs at?
here is a start.

dont be sorry, its just that this has litterally been covered thousands of times and using the search button will be your best friend. But seriously, use your h23 harness and then run the 2 wires, its just as easy as it sounds.

yea appreciate it man...just the most ive ever done was a valve gasket or starter...but im swapping my own engine by my self so thanks for the help...
When I swapped my first engine, I was a bit nervous but if you can switch a starter you can swap an engine. Just take your time, label everything and you will be fine. If you have any issues along the way, just search first, then if you cant find anything there are many HT members who actually know what they are doing that can help you.
Good luck
