first ima assume you have a d series motor in the del sol ue to the fact that the headers fit.

second, rasp is normal with ANY header... due to the increased rate of airflow. if you want to shut it the hell up, get a really good exhaust system or a really good resonator. most people swear by magnaflow... but i got a no name one from a muffler shop alot cheaper than the magna and it worked wonders!

check to make sure its installed properly, ie gaskets installed, and all bolts snugged down... the raspiness can be caused by two metal objects rubbing against one-another...

could be that both the headers and your cat is getting too old. Also, could be that your missing the donut(a round metal gasket shaped somewhat like a donut), it sits in between the headers and cat.

Did you wrench the bolts down tight enough? Those bolts WILL come loose if you don't wrank on them hard enough

Is there an exhaust leak somewhere? Did you put the donut gasket back in between the exhaust manifold and cat?
