Is it doing it at idle?
If so clean your IACV and FITV. I had the exact same problem and cleaning those fixed it. Super easy to do.

Re: my car is reven up then back down (Morasso)
i have had the iacv problem but it was a slow oscillation in the rpms, then my injector seal popped out and i had a hissing sound and the rpms were serging pretty fast like up and down between 1500-1000 twice per second. could be other problems tho

Could also be a blown Alternator/Speed sensor fuse -- that will be the culprit for part of the problems you're having.. but your speedo would work either.

Any one have a pic showing the throttle body with the iacv/fitv?
So I know exactly what I'm supposed to be touching/cleaning.
I have '94 Civic EX coupe.
TIA.

Hey RaWrZie... didn't I already solve this problem for you when I was trying to solve my own problem?
Same pic I used in my thread:
Top hole = IACV
Bottom hole = FITV
Rear side of the throttle body... same thing top/bottom
Just take the TB off and give it a quick inspection, the holes should go through but you might have a build up of nice nastyness in there...
GL again!

Probably.
Hard to keep up with threads here.
They get lost 2-3 pages back while at work.
Didn't see it.
= (
Cool though...
I'll have look-see.
Thanks again?
