according to greddy install instructionds of the profec b you hook up a line from the charge pipe to the "in" nipple on the black box and a hose from the "out" nipple on the black box to the wastegate actuator...and manifold pressure to the back of the profec b
but i have mine hooked up the the compr. housing of the turbo before the intercoolerinstead of after...so it doesn't really read the pressure drop...so could i just hook up a line from the manifold to the "in" nipple on the black box and hook up everything else the same ?
i just can't seem to figure out why i can't reach full boost until the beggining of 4th gear

 

Back of controller goes to the intake manifold.
IN goes to the top of the wastegate.
The side of your wastegate and the out must go to the same location.

 

i have an internal wastegate with only one port....i just wanted to know if i couls hook up the "in" port on the black box to manifold pressure instead of the comp. housing....b/c it is currently hooked up b4 the intercooler

 

Back of the Profec B = Intake manifold
IN = Boost Source = Turbo Compressor OR Intake manifold. It does not matter. I tried both methods and got the same results.
Out = To top of the WASTEgate.

if u dont want the wastegate to read pressure drop of the intercooler, then u have to hook up the boost reading source after the i/c so it can compensate for the pressure drop of the i/c and not open the wastegate til it reaches the desired boost after the i/c.
