Default What might cause the master switch to work one way but not the other?

Actually I have two window switch problems...

1. My passenger window works when the "on/off" lockout switch is switched to "on". It did this with the stock window switch, and with the new switch I put in.

2. On my stock master switch, the passenger window goes down with the switch, but it doesn't go up with it. I had to roll up the pass. side with the pass. switch. I don't have a problem with it now with the new switch, but I'd like to fix the old master switch. I opened it up and the circuit board looks fine. I can't see anything wrong with the switch.

yeap more likely the Contact point in the switch. open up if you can and just use a med. fine sandpaper to clean the points. always worked for me working at a repair shop.
