Default Dyno Tires?

What's a good 14" or 15" dyno tire? I'm sure a nice drag radial or something like the power street guys run would work great, but that seems like an expensive solution for the amount of use I'd get out of them. What do you turbo street guys with 700+ WHP use?

I had really good luck with the M&H 235-60-15 drag radials.

We would literally blow the 225-50-15 BFGs loose on the dyno even in the 600 hp range.

You can also air the slicks up to 30 pounds and dyno with those guys

We got Joes old car to make 850+whp in 3rd gear on M/T 235/60/15 ET Street Drag Radials.

They seem to work very well.

Thanks, I'll look into the M&Hs.. I figured the soft rubber of the true slicks would not last long on the rollers.

i have heard horror storries running the m&h drag radials on the dyno.....and if i remember correctly they personally made a post here in the drag racing section saying not to use their radials on the dyno.

the MT radials seem to work really well on the dyno, we have had several 800+ horsepower cars using the same set on our dyno. we have run slicks on the dyno too but its pretty scary, especially seeing one come apart at the top of 4th gear in a 1200whp supra
