I've installed my clutch about a month ago, Broke it in already over 500 miles. I'm getting alot of play when I press on my clutch. Seems to be a loose noise everytime I release the clutch pedal. I don't tighten my clutch release cable that tight, I like my clutch pedal with not alot release force when stepped.

Could this cause the noise when I release my clutch pedal?
Will tightening up the clutch cable eliminate this noise when I let go my clutch?

It's a 5 speed cable tranny. Thanks

 

If it helps, I'm using Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch Kit. It shifts really nice, just when I let go my clutch pedal, I get a "clunk" noise everytime. Clutch cable might be too loose I believe. Any inputs?
