Last night I tried to mildly accelrate and the car sputtered and bucked a little bit. I let off and tried the gas again and it was fine. Came to a light, left the light and was fine till second gear and it did it again. Let off the gas and tried again and problem never happened again. No CEL, so I was just wondering if anyone has had any issues like this. Car is a 92 CX with a obd1 gsr swap

 

If you haven't done one recently, try a basic tune up -- plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and fuel filter.

 

I have kinda the same issue just put in a B16a installed a couple new sensor but still sputters or bucks during mid acceleration. Checked the plugs and they look good it has a new fuel filter was done a few month proir while it had the sohc in it

I'd rather troubleshoot it before I throw money at it. Few things I have checked are fuel pressure as per Helms manual, and battery voltage.

 

my tps sensor was to blame for my issue like this.

Did it throw a CEL?

 

for like the first 5-6 days it didnt but it randomly threw it. but it was getting progressively worse and just as it got so bad that i could barely drive and i was about to take it somewhere, that little CEL poppe up with a code 7.

 

It hasn't happened since then so I guess Ill keep you guys posted

 

Little update, driving to work today and the car threw a CEL for 43, Fuel supply system. Guess I'll have to get the helms out tonight
