Default my car is hesitating?

car:1995 honda civic ex
symptom: feels like the car hesitates when being floored while in gear and in nuetral. only does it once in a while.

im confused...anybody got ideas? and i didnt what to search for...?

my car started doing this right before the rotor broke... i think this is a sighn for you to do a full tune-up... cap, rotor, wires, n plugs... maybe fuel filter

ok i replaced the distributor cap, rotor and spark plugs...im waiting for my wires to come in but it runs smooth again already.

oh well its was most likly from ur rotor, check the old one out, the tip of it that destibutes the spark was dirty and couldnt transfer the spark to each spark wire.

the problem was the rotor. the tip was black with carbon build up and also the spring from the coil pack was like stretched out. i dunno, anyways i just rebent it back into a coil or wire and stuck it back into there. car runs fine now.
