97 civic no BRAKES !!

Default 97 civic no BRAKES !!

hey i recently go my car diagnosed with a worn out master cylinder , i have a 97 civic ex with ABS , when i got m car back from the garage eveything was good and i had great brakes ! Within a couple days i lost all my brakes and the brake pedal goes right to the floor ! we tryed bleeding the and nutting good happens . when the car isent running you push the pedal and within 2 pumps it goes nice and hard but as soon as i start it i oes right to the floor !! dunno what it could be wrong !! anyone had his problem befor ?

did you bleed it according to the service manual? You have to do it in order: FR, RR, FL, RL but you have to double check because i'm not entirely sure

was the brake master cylinder bench bleed b4 puttin it on?

Go back to where ever you got the work done ASAP. If you tamper with anything, they might not fix it. If the garage doesnt take responsibility, then as ^^^ ekb16 stated make sure they bench bleeded the master cylinder.

hey thanks for the replys ! he did bench bleed the master and bled the system acording to specs !! dunno whats going on !! still no brakes !!

jack the car up and look for leaks around the hoses and the MC itself.

was the booster replace or just the MC?

just the master was replaced for now , cannot see any leaks around brake lines and hoses ! the bosster seems a little bit wet under the master but i cant figure out why it would be wet there !! maybe a bad MC but the booster doesnt have any liquids in it right ?????
