Engine light doesnt turn off after started engine please help

anyone had this happen w/your car? i heard click sound on passenger side below dashboard and engine light stay on....please help

you need to find out what code is has. what year and model is it

That is the Check Engine Light (CEL). This means there is somethign wrong with your car. You're going to need to find out what the code is.

If you have a '96+, you can get it scanned for free at most auto parts stores, such as Autozone. If it's earlier, they can't scan it.
