oil coolers have a tendency to lower oil pressure... How much oil pressure did u have before and what do u have now?

i believe the line is 1 in diameter hose but the inside diameter is smaller than 1 in. i think there is about 80 inches of line total but with all that hose to connect everything. but with the bigger oil filter that is used ,the cooler, hose, and oil in the turbo dose 5.5 qrts of oil sound like a sufficient amount? or with all that line am i just going to lose to much pressure and going to have to shorten the run?

Nothing but problems with that thing from B&M. I too dropped a ton of oil pressure on one of my road race cars with that thing. Wasn't worth it from that company. Honda motors don't really like the relocation. I lost several bearings from that kit. Please get rid of it, and get something else.

5.5 sounds like it should be more than enough, the best thing to do is pull the plug wires off and turn the motor over long enough to pick up oil and fill the lines, then check the oil on the dip stick as soon as you can and see where its at to let you know how much is in the pan while the motor is holding oil in the lines and head. But you do need to shorten all the lines up as much as possible.

Do people here know about putting spacers or washers in the oil pressure relief valve? It effectivly increases tension on the spring and makes it open later to more pressure. You need to take off the sump to access it. I have 2 washers in mine and its back up to normal pressure.

I have done it to my ITR as I also have a cooler installed.
