well personally if i had the money i would ditch your stock LS crank with and go with a balanced and polished one. ITR internals are quality parts that can hold up to at least 9k rpm for awhile with nice crank. and yeah it just snowed here in kansas city on saturday....&lt;^&gt; (-_-) weather its nice today though so i'll try to get some pics taken.

LOLS save yourself some money. Use your LS crank and your LS rods. Just get ARP rod bolts for them and have a machineshop put them in.

What's the point of LSvtec if you're going to cut the stroke 89mm down to 87.2mm?

i never said to get a smaller crank just one that is balanced for safe high rpm operation. and the itr pistons are higher compression than LS pistons <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by xiongtoua1990 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">okay i got the picture i was wondering where exactly does the oil line tapped go to near the head?? and also if i should replace the head gasket when im at it</TD></TR></TABLE> are you asking me how i ran my oil line ? and yes you should replace your head gasket cometic makes good ones. here is a link for the golden eagle ls vtec kit http://shopping.lightningmotor...n+kit

lols "ditch the LS crank and get a balanced one?" (quoting you to some extent) do you know what you're talking about?

Why dont' you save the money and balance the LS crank then? $100-150, unless you want to shell out $100 for the ITR crank and another $100-150 to rebalance it.

well personally i only have one car and no longer have my motorcycle so i wouldnt have time to have my car taken apart. there is one place that i would trust up in north kansas city (i'm down south in overland park) and they're not very fast. thats why i suggested to order a crank thats already balanced so it can all be done relatively quick. i dont know about you but to most people time is money. so yeah if you live with mom and dad and can get rides go for it and balance your ls crank.

well personally i have one car too, but I dont' build the motor I have in there. I build the spare block sitting in my garage.

oh and did you know the correct way to balance your crankshaft is to have your rods/pistons/flywheel/clutch balanced with the crank and not itself?
