*Turbo XS Dual Stage Boost Controller, Need help!*
Ok so I recently purchased a new TurboXS boost dual stage boost controller. I followed the directions stating side nipple on boost controller goes to turbo and bottom nipple goes to side of wastegate. Well with both ***** on the boost controller turned all the way down we went out tuning. I have a tial 40mm wastegate with a 13-14psi spring. We did a couple pulls and the car went well past 14psi and hit 28-29psi at full spool up. We disconnected the boost controller and ran straight off the wastegate and im hitting 17psi which is fine for low boost. Im just wondering what happened and what I can do to correct it.

I had the quad stage and had the same problem. I called Turbo XS and they told me to take a drill bit to figure what size the hole is in the nipple that goes to the turbo on the boost controller. Then take the next size drill bit and drill out the nipple on the boost controller. This worked for me I couldnt get the boost below 24 psi, after drilled I got it down to 11psi. Hope this helps
Got the same boost controller on my car, i hooked it up the way they recommended and got some crazy spiking problems then my tuner hooked it up a lil differend and not a problem since. Can you go into paint and post up how you ran the vacume lines? Then i'll check mine and see if its the same.

well i talked to them and they said I had it installed correctly its just that with larger turbos it pushes alot of air and the boost controller cant catch the vaccum fast enough. The smaller of the 2 nipples is slightly restrictive and they said drilling it from like 1mm to like 1.3mm should fix the problem.
i drilled the top/side hole out but im not sure if i drilled it big enough. Do you have a pic or know how big you drilled it.
Sorry I dont have a pic of the controller cause I have AMS-1000 now but all I did was go one step up on the drill bit size from the original size that fit in the hole and the boost came down alot.
Im going to put a smaller spring in my wastegate and see what boost it hits then if its not enough just to up the boost until its right for low boost.
