Default 82 mm b18c stock sleeve on boost?

hi there!!!

Am having a dilemma and an extreme headache on the financial demand by the stupidity of my previous engine builder and tuner. Now I ended up having to re-built my engine again (by a different builder).

Am using a endyn 81.5mm low compression forged piston. The pistons were measured between 81.38-81.4mm just above the skirt. now the old builder rebore the block by not measuring the piston's entire diameter to 81.55mm ending up to a .51mm(.00591") PTW clearance....Way too big from theoldone's recommended .0027-.0028 to .003 maximum clearance.

Now, given the above official measurements, I have no way to go either to re-sleeve the block, which is a very remote possibility since there is nobody competent enough in this place to do this. 2nd is to get another block, which would cost me an arm and leg as well. And 3rdly, to go on the next piston size which is 82mm.

Question is how much boost would this rebore (if ever) cylinder can able to handle. Am not after huge xxxx power. The aim is around 15psi (1 bar os boost) and conservative tuning.

Am running an hondata s300....and gt2871R (t3/t4)

Any advice would be highly appreciated....TIA..

have u run into some sort of trouble? how long have u been driving her on that boost level?
Coz endyn people dont want me to rebore it to 82mm. Says it will make the block brittle....

thanks man!

so you are simply saying that it is still safe to do so till 19 psi provided it is properly tuned?

Thanks man....just needed alot of opinion. Getting a lil bit desperate now coz of financial shorfall..
