Default piston clearance

I got a block from my friend that is sleeved from golden eagle. I plan on running high boost in the car. He told me that it's bored to 3.206. If i get 3.205 bore pistons will that clearance be fine for high boost? Maybe a dumb question, but I don't know.

Default Re: piston clearance (Boostfrog)

Buy the 3.206 pistons. Take the pistons and block to a machine shop and have them hone it for the piston to cylinder wall clearance you are looking for. Pistons should come with a spec sheet of recommended clearances.
