Default thinking of makin a solid steel motor brace. ok or gonna break something?

i already have solid mount inserts but i wanna eliminate any chance of the motor moving during track runs. i was thinkin of fabbing up some kind of rod or brace to bolt on to the block somewhere to stop any movment . the problem is i dont want to have the brace end up smashing through the block or cracking it or anything like that when the motor tries to move a lil. anyone try this ever? good or bad idea? its on a crx single cam turbo, i dont wanna put it on the head cause i fear it will slowly rip the head up from the block ..

If you have solid mounts already...your all done. It's not going to move unless the mounts rip out.Anything more is just added weight.

if you wanna limit movement to the fullest go get yourself some solid billet mounts.

i dont think he has solid mounts, im guessing he either has the ES inserts or urethane mounts per this:
