Hey, i went and got like two gallons worth of gas today and when i turned the car on the RPM needle rose like it always does but when it dropped i kept going until the car turned off. This happened like three or four times until i said screw it and didnt wait for the needle to drop, threw her in first and took off. I made it home fine, but i am worried because this is the second occurance. The only present problem i have right now is that my exhaust is disconnected at the flange so its loud but i dont know if that has any connected to this problem.

I'm was pretty low both times when i got gas
I doubt its the station cuz iv gone there with different cars all the time and no problems.
car runs fine other times.

Anyone got ideas? I'm really nervous this might turn into a problem and could really use help

i had this problem when i first got my da, i was on empty and when i drove it around it went away. i don't think it is anything to worry about, but i would stop letting your gas go so low.
