High-temp grease for clutch install?
Hey guys, I am installing mynew clutch and flywheel tonight...I have ARP moly lube for the ARP bolts I got....where do I put the actual grease?
From my understanding, it goes on the inputshaft on transmission? Any pics of where it goes?
Can anyone confrim 76 ftlbs for flywheel and 19 ft lbs for clutch?

i never grease the shaft (lol) just the part in the clutch housing that the TO bearing moves on. and also grease the shift fork where it meets the TO bearing and the slave cyl. and also grease the inside of the TO bearing and on the flanges of the TO for the shift fork.
those torque specs sound about right.
make sure to align the whole assembly as perfect as you can with the alignment tool so its easier to get the tranny back on the block (input shaft into the clutch center).

If I post a pic of the transmission tonight and clutch can you like put arrows on it showing where exactly you are talking about? lol...I get most of it, but I like pictures !
how could you even be attempting all this work without a helms? it tells you exactly where to grease and what the torque specs are. maybe someone else can help you with your little picture, Im busy tonight lol

You actually should put a thin film of grease on the input shaft, in addition to the other spots you already noted.

I've always done that as well.
