I have a funny smell coming from under my hood after my engine gets hot. I noticed white smoke coming from the intake manifold after running it hard the other day. If i run the heat i can smell it in my car. smells kinda like coolant. car runs great, and is not running hot. smells a little rich and idles low though. anyone have any ideas?

 

heater core, time to learn how to remove your dash!! if its not the core(hopefully it is not) its probably one of the small coolant hoses that run to the throttlebody and also to the IACV. located in the very center of the upper intake plenum.

 

my intake manifold does the same thing!! wat is it?

 

it's coming out right where one of the small hoses go into the throttle body. should i check my connections and make sure nothing is leaking?

 

One of the small lines? The small ones should just be vac lines; there is coolant that runs to the TB, though, so you could be leaking it there.
