So im running a D16Y8 @10 lbs. and am shopping around for a bov and am just wondering what is the advantage of this twin chamber Apexi one vs. any of the other ones? also does anybody have any opinions on any particular bov? im looking for a good one with a loud sound, i like the ppppsssshhhhh.... sound not a high pitch'd whisle. Thanks

 

im running a blitz bov on my setup sounds great and its pretty loud

 

HKS SSQV I had one on my b16 turbo setup and loved it-it was kinda pricey though..

My Evo came with a Blitz one that the previous owner installed and its pretty sweet..

 

I ran HKS SSQV's on my subaru and my turbo si, I cannot recommend them if you are looking for a woosh noise. With both apps it was a high pitched whistle, which is what you are not going for. On 10 psi, a turboXS RFL should hold up fine without having to put 100 washers on the back to keep it closed. I don't have any experience with the Apexi, but my TurboXS never failed me, are you running an EBC or MBC? If EBC, it would help cut down on some of the creep that the RFL is known for at least in the WRX community

 

get the synchronic BOV has the breathing blow off. or blitz. synchronic is new so look at youtube for synchronic
