**HELP with AVC-R settings**
hey guys so we were tunning my car yesterday with the avc-r (turning up the boost) now only thing is, when we turned up the boost and then adjusted the duty accordingly we could not get the avc-r to hold a steady boost at 18lbs
is there some sort of trick to working with the avc-r that were missing?? any help with this would be great thanks alot

Could be indication that your wastegate spring is too soft (running more than 1.5x the base spring pressure), or your turbo is choking and running out of flow.
You can max out the duty % on the RPM vs Duty scale... Whatever RPM your boost is dropping, raise the duty there. If it is no good, then it is something mechanical related.

Internal wastegates, especially on the GT2871R is nothing but trouble at anything over 14 PSI.
At this point, you may have to run a really stiff internal wastegate spring to get it to hold 18 PSI; With a really stiff spring though, it would result in quite a bit of spiking.
You either have to live with a wavy boost curve, or switch to external unfortunately.
