i gotta a 97 ek n i wanna swap a b18. i've found a bunch of 94-96 b18b1 complete motors but i dnt really want to go thru all the odb wiring. wen the blocks r bare wuts the difference? i wanna buy a block n go lsvtec if i buy a 94 block n jus add a vtec head will i still have 2 deal with the wiring change?

 

as far as internals I don't think theres any difference. the only other thing would possibly be a sensor or 2 that is on one and not the other. my main consern would be the crank angle sensor.

 

so if a buy a 94 ls block bare n i put a 96 n up vtec head wud i have to do any odb wiring?
