i have a 94 ls integra and it needs a new motor and i was thinking of going with a gsr swap or a b16 swap and i no to do the swap i need the motor ecu and engine harness for either of the motors but my question is will these engine harnesses hook up to the harness already in my integra and if any futher wiring would need to be done for vtec

i think you are going to need a wire for the vtec if you stay with the ls harness.

 

Also knock sensor. And if you go with a gsr you will also need to wire the iab on the intake manifold.

 

how hard is it to wire the car for vtec and with the iab and knock sensor is that the same with all vtec motors or just the gsr

 

To wire vtec and knock is just some wire to the correct ecu pin. The iab is specific to the gsr, some people don't wire it but I do. Its so the manifold will change from the long to short runners in the intake manifold, when the rpm's increase. Only the gsr has this. Its 1 wire...
