91 civic w/ b20 starting problem

Default 91 civic w/ b20 starting problem

My friend swaped in a b20 into his hatch. now he cant get it started. it can run if he sprays carb cleaner in for about 20 secs. he says the injectors are finiky and dont squirt all the time or even when they are saposed to. were are getting spark, have good compression.intake good.

what could it be? any one know?

Sounds to me like injector wiring is not right..

was it a civic si and has a resistor box, and you are using the stock b20 saturated injectors? if so thats the problem you need obd0 peak and hold injectors

saturated injectors can still be run off a injector resistor drive. I sugguest checking out the wiring to the injectors with a volt meter.
