Default my 450whp stock motor goal

Changing things up a lil since last year. Current setup:

Stock ls/vtec w/gsr head
JDM b16 tranny
Precision 880cc injectors
Precision SC60 turbo
70mm throttle body
custom 3" piping
Rev Hard fmic
Pfab ramhorn mani
Greddy type s bov
3" dp and exhaust
turbonetics 38mm wg

last year i made 438whp with the injectors maxed out on about 22psi absolute. Im looking to hit 450 on a little less boost. Ill be getting 1000cc injectors, edelbrock victor x intake mani, probably a pfab top mount manifold, and switching to a gsr tranny. I would also like to hit an 11.0 quarter mile on street legal M and H drag radials but we will see... ill update in a month or so after its tuned!

Wow, how long have you been pushing it on that much power?

some motors just work well- i tuned one of my employee's cars and its making about 430 for a while now, on a 100% bone stock gsr. he was recently talking about putting new cams in it and turning the boost up a bit- going off what the dyno, track, abuse, and logs show, i think it can do 500 no problem

for sure, the motor just has to be in good shape and taken care of well. im sure mine could take 500 but im scared and i dont think the turbo could do it. my buddy made 518whp on stock ls/vtec on a t67. It lasted for a while taking it to the track every weekend and beating the **** out of it.

my guy is using an sc61 thats in ruff shape. a 67 would make it even easier to break the 500hp mark

i have a stock sleeve ls block here with pistons and rods in it im seriously debating on putting in my car just to make sure everything works right before i put the real motor in it with my s372. since i dont care if it blows up, it could be rather interesting to see how far the stock sleeves could go with a big turbo

thanks guys. yea on e85, 400whp is definately acheivable. With a good tune, it should last quite a while.

Well since my engine is not as messed up as i thought, i might be pushing 400+whp with my new setup on E85. It'll be awesome to have a few 400whp+ stock blocks on HT now
