Default Boost Question?

Hey all HT Members... I am new here, but i just decided to quit going all motor and finally boost my hatch... well here is my setup.. i am running a turbonetcis t3/t04b with a custom tubular manifold, Tial 35 mm wg, 2'5 dp, IntegraDC2 Piping, Johnny Race Car FMIC, Greddy BOV, FMU, Inline FP, and the motor is bone stock stock injectors but skunk2 mani and most of the boltons due to all motor b4.. my question is how many pounds can i run on that setup with VAFC to tune it... anyone with close to me or same setup on a GSR? preciate it..

the stock injectors prolly wont go more than i'd say around 200whp but thats just a guess, dont hold it against me.. first thing ya need to do is get some bigger injectors, if you're lookin to save money get some DSM 450's and a resistor box.. then ya can go up around 260 whp on those.. and its not the boost that matters, its the power that matters when deciding upon injectors.. search and you'll find more accurate numbers as to power that certain injectors can support.. hope i helped ya out somewhat.. good luck and enjoy

I agree with what IntegracinGSR stated, but I'd also like to add that you should toss the FM and the VAFC and just get Uberdata which is 100% free and 1,000% more versatile than either of those two components could ever hope for.

Damn. I just caught my self almost saying "You're already spending the money to build it. May as well spend the money and build it right.", but for a splitsecond I forgot that Uberdata is FREE!!

I ran my car with 310 injectors and maxxed it out on the vfac. I was still running lean as hell. upgraded to 440s at 10 psi got 275whp...still some more room to make more power. I recommend getting a better fuel management. gurantee more power you would probably be safe around 5 psi tuned with stock injectors.

You mean, you maxed it out with the stock regulator.

Because you were runing stock fuel pressure.

Which you could have made on the 310's.

With the 310's yeah. With the 440's and more fuel pressure, definitely.

Like Uberdata which costs less and does waaaaaay more than the VAFC ever could.

With stock pressures and a crappy VAFC hack. With some real fuel pressures and stock injectors you could pull much more psi than that with a t04b.

just wait till you get a real engine management system. You dont wanna mess your motor up. do it right the first time.
