would a cut O2 wire cause a short?
my car has been having charging issues, and today as i was looking around i saw that my primary O2 sensor's black wire is cut. its not all the way cut but more than halfway. could that possible cause a short even tho its not touching anything?
no, but id fix that use some electric tape for a temp fix, then id go through and look a t everything else, what kinda short is it?? whats the main thing that is bein effected by this short?

if the wires in the black wire is exposed and is touching anything... it will cause it to short.
same thing happened to me... i had an aftermarket header and had to lengthen the wires to the 02 sensor and the heat from the header melted the tape and the outter layer of the wires and when ever the exposed wire touched metal or anything it would blow a fuse.
jus fix the wire and keep it away from anything hot.
