WTF now ????
ok guys. i just had my bottom end bored 20 over, added an eagle crank kit (eagle crank, eagle H-beam rods and SRP pistons) head gasket is felpro
i drove it 500 miles at low speeds not even engaging the VTEC and after the 500 miles i goosed it one good time. when it got between 85 - 90 the temp started to rise and i already had a check engine light (thought it was just the knock sensor)
i was on my way to get it tuned when all this happened so just headed straight to the shop and when they put it on the comp they said it was throwing a knock senser, VTEC and O2 codes. what in buddahs name can b wrong.
fan runs so im thinking that the thermostat is opening
by the way its a b-18c1. please if anyone can give me clues as to what i should b looking for that would b great
THANKS IN ADVANCE !!!!!!!!!!

does it run ok? does it feel like it has power, or not? a knock sensor code could mean your getting detonation. maybe bad timing, wrong or incorrectly gapped plugs. you could try running a higher octane fuel, but you still need to figure out whats causing the detonation. i dont know what all could cause it myself but thats a start. btw the shop should be able to figure it out. if it is bad timing they should be able to fix it.
the car runs good and im using 93 octane
i have since brought the car back to the shop with a name and number to a tuner shop just in case they might need to call for some advice
the only reason i went there was because they had a machine shop right there and i had heard that these guys were good, but now im thinking just good with american cars
