So I finally bit the bullet, saved up the cash and ordered a Hytech twin loop today. My Teg has had an SNL twin loop on it, but the thing got way loud, so here goes something new. I'm shooting for a really quiet setup for comfortable DD, but that high end growl.
I found that there is a huge lack of information on the specs of the muffler online, so I'm making this thread as a reference for anyone looking for size specs.
SPECS:
Canister Diameter (Not including loop): John Said: 8", ACTUAL of mine: 7.75"
Canister length (not including loops): 9" or 11" Available
Total muffler length (loops + body): 19" or 21" respectively, ACTUAL of mine w/ an 11" body, was 19" (Loops add 4" on both sides)
Piping Diameter: 2.5"
Tip Length: Custom, can be made to any length requested. Slash tip that can be welded onto body, or can just included to be welded by you.
Loop direction: Mufflers in stock don't have loops yet, so they can be welded on either the driver side of the passenger side as per request.
Current setup: Cammed B18C1, 11.5:1, Short Ram, Rage header w/ a 2.5 in collector, 2.5 in SS piping through a Carsound cat, 14in Magnaflow Resonator, SNL Twin Loop.
UPDATE: Video before Hytech:

i didn't know he sold just the muffler. I was quoted i think around 800-900 for the full exhaust with a resonator, hmmmm decisions decisions i think ill just get he full exhaust

Yep, $395 + Shipping. The full exhaust is easier a lot of the times because where the piping comes into the muffler is a lot higher then it would be with an oval muffler. I already had a Twin loop, so it's pretty much a cut and weld, no tube bending.
Nice. If you don't post clips, i will for sure. I'm running the 2.0L Hytech header + 2.5" Hytech Twinloop header-back on my 12.15:1 CR motor. should sound nice. I just got my exhaust today, so it'll be on in the next couple days. Glad to see another HyTech owner

Nice, I'd post them either way! I am going to give John a call Monday if I haven't heard from him yet...that will be 2.5 weeks since I ordered. GL with your exhuast!
Edit: Talked to John today (Couldn't wait till monday :D) and he's going on vacation next week, so that sucks. He said a week and a half before it's done. In Hytech Time, I'm guessing that's two weeks minimum.

yeah ive heard of people waiting several months for some items from him, thats why right now i haven't purchased a full exhaust from him yet. you've waited 5 weeks for your muffler i wonder how long he would take for a full system

Yeah, I've heard that also. I hoped that it wouldn't be the case this time because he said he "had the mufflers in stock" only needing to weld on the loop and cut the tip for it. So I figured that maybe his 2 week estimate might only mean 3 weeks, haha. Still waiting...

Should fit most civics/ integras...As long as your piping comes in nice and high over the rear suspension, it will tuck right up underneath the bumper.
