Default Anyone have the MagnaFlow Muffler 4" x 9" 11" Body?

Im looking to get this exhaust but im worried about the sound quality of it. I have a 22in resonator with 2.25 piping. I wanna know if its a clean sounding exhaust, like a greddy sp2, or apexi ws2, in that range... Thats what im looking for. Thanx.

That's what I got on my Sol, that exact muffler. It's hooked up to a stock cat and 2.5'' pipe from the cat to the muffler. Yea, I know the inlet for the muffler is 2.25''. And I got Magnaflow 4'' tip. I run a D15B7 with a short ram...
Here's a video I made....

Personally, I like it. It's a little deep and loud at low rpm's especially when it's cold but once it's warm, it sounds awesome!

Prolly... The camera was only a few feet from the muffler and I don't have a resinator. But wide open, all you can hear is the engine.
it's certainly not as loud as my previous muffler though which was more of the crap fart cannon.

the magnaflow exhaust is a very deep clean sound....espically with a resignator...i dont have one but it sounds good...at low rpms i stay nice n quiet...but once u bring it up to higher rpms...u get a a great response...but my friend had just taken off his resginator...because he liked how mines sounded...and got a 2.25 piece of pipe welded on

since you say its the camera, do you think your exhaust is louder then a Apexi WS2, or a GReddy Sp2?

i have the 4x9x14 on my hatch, and i love it. not loud at all, but still has sound. low, deep and clean at low RPMs, and practically non-existant at highway/cruising speeds, but opens up at WOT.

i hear my intake over my exhaust at all points, but love the sound of the muffler with a friend driving it and me outside.

oh and my setup is a header and 2.5" catback with like a 24" resonator (dont remember the exact size)

sounds similiar to mine just not so loud. which it isnt THAT loud, but mine is quieter than that. i'll have to make a video or sound clip or something. seems like these questions are coming up a lot more lately.

here's a pic of how i have mine set up.

I have the Magnaflow 4 x 9 x 14 from the same seller, but it has 2.5" inlets. I love the way it sounds. It's very quiet and deep and not raspy at all. I use it on my turbo d16 setup with a 2.5" magnaflow high flow cat and 2.5" magnaflow 22" length resonator. Great sounding muffler for the money. Maybe I'll take some sound clips once I get rid of my exhaust leak at the turbo.

It all depends on weather you run a cat or not. I have a greddy evo2 catback on my car with a b18c. With an extra resonator(2 resonators) and test piped with a header it was sooooooo loud. But then with a stock cat and manifold and the greddy as is, it was not too loud at all. It just sounded way cleaner with a stock cat and wasnt all that loud at WOT either.

I have no clue what either of those two sound like. Are you worried about getting a loud exhaust ticket or what?
Like I said and what I've read, it's a nice muffler. It's a little loud around 3K but everywhere else it's pretty non-existant.
