help me decide... 6 puck or 8 puck( if there is such a thing)
okay, i want to know the difference in feel between a 6 puck and a 8 puck...
okay.. i don't even know if 8 pucks exists... i know nothing about clutches...
basically, im getting a rebuilt clutch (i know, but it is the only one i could afford) and i want to know which one i should get... some guy got a 4 puck and it like screeches or chirps even in reverse... so that is way way too mcuh for me.
i want something i can stand on the street. i really really really love human comfort, but i don't want somethign that will hurt timeslips too much... (i drove a new vw 1.8 over the weekend and love how the clutch was so soft that it was almost like non existant... is there something like that for us?)
also when i have the clutch rebuilt, is there something i should tell him to do or not to do? is there certain material i should have him avoid using or what?
sorry.. and once agian.. i know sorry for the newb question but i did type up 6 puck in the search...

Sorry I can't help cuz I don't know jack about rebuilding a clutch. I went through 2 and currently run an Exedy clutch. That's the best one for me so far. Had an ACT but Exedy so much more streetable. Not taht much either. Check out Cluthcityonline.com or Clucthcity.com ( I forgot )
They hook up H-T memebers.
Besides, how much power are you making and do you really need something that extreme?
