Yet another clutch question... Please help.
My clutch is going bad and I have narrowed it down to the ACT xtreme pressure plate and street disc or the Centerforce Dual Friction... Just wondering on the driveablilty of each and which would be better for daily driving. I don't want a leg workout while driving in daily traffic... Also, I have the standard bolt on header, intake, exhaust mods. Thanks for the help in advance...

if u dont want a leg workout, dont get the ACT. i dont think centerforce has a very good reputation for having good clutches either. why dont you go with Clutchmasters or Exedy? Clutchmasters has stock pedal feel and holds a lot of power.

I've been reading and searching, so far, I have heard the best about these two... I have come across some pretty good prices also for both of these, so, thats why I chose these 2. I was hoping to hear from owners of both... I know it varies from person to person and car to car, but I wanted to know both sides...

i have an ACT Heavy duty clutch in my ride for over 2 years now and no problems so far (trust me, it is two years of abuse at the track and on the streets)......it is more of a firmer/harder engagement than a Clutch Masters but i have buddies that have CM clutches and they say it doesn't last that long...it's just about the same as a stock clutch....if your ride is mainly just bolt-ons...i suggest not getting a "race-only" clutch...

I have obviosly searched and came to the decision between these two... Although I have a low post count I have been a register user for a few months... The reason I posted was to get the opinions of people that have the clutches, not so you could tell me to use the search button... Thanks, but I dont need your input if you aren't going to help... Now back to the topic, if anyone has a worth-while opinion, I would greatly appreciate it...
