cant read cel!!!! HELP!
ok, so my cel came on so i tried jumping it, as soon as i do the cel goes off and doesnt blink and as soon as i take the wire out of the connector the cel comes right back on. so i took it over to a shop and had them hook it up and they said the machine cant connect to my car to read the code... whats wrong? could this be caused by my Hondata S300???
i had the same thing happen to me, what's weird is that when i tried a different ecu to check if it's some kind of electrical problem, there wasn't, and switched back to my regular ecu the cel stayed on like it's suppose to.
i have a s100; i heard you can read your cel from a s200/s300 in a different way

yes, with the s300 i have a software that i can put onto a lap top and use to pull/erase codes from my ecu but the problem is that my lap tops broken
... but as soon as i get it back im going to try and use that to pull the code, but in the mean time id like to try and figure out why the hell i cant pull the code now.

ok, so i figured out what was tripping my check engine light, my number 2 cylinder spark plug was going bad and was misfiring now and then, BUT i still havent figured out why the hell i cant connect to the ecu to read the codes...
