if money isn't an issue get your motor from HM, i've heard nothing but bad things on this board about tigerjapanese.

and you need to look at the faq to find out what you need for your swap, this is probably the most common swap in any honda ever.

hmotorsonline.com

steve is a cool guy.

you might want to Search what you are asking about, this has been covered a jillion times.

PM Luserkid , he does clean work and can tell you what you need for the swap.

If i were you, and i was really gonna buy that swap, id get a GREAT alarm first.

good luck

Ok Im not into ricey cars, however alot of work went into that car. It actually looks like they did a good job. That something I would never do to a car, but it looks like it was done right at least.

I dont know what it is about the Type R that everyone like. If money really isnt an option then it might be a better idea to build a motor. LSvtecs' are reliable as long as they are done right and not half assed. As far as ordering a motor I would recommend any other company than hmotorsonline. I have see alot of motors from them and they are the best by far and they have the best customer service. Like someone else already said check the stick posts at the very top of this page. They are in bold. One of them is a FAQ section and it has everything you need to know about swapping a motor. That or pick a hayes manual it will help you for as long as you own the car.

Not some crappy Viper alarm. Find someone who can install the alarm. Someone who has a good rep for alarms. Down here in So Cal, Desmon (WRX-killer) is a wiz with alarms. I'm glad I got mine done from him b/c when I had my B18c in, I had 3 theft attempts in a matter of 5 months. His alarm is why I still have my car.

On another note, seeing as though you're in cali also, you might want to consider the smog issue. It may be difficult to smog your ride with a JDM Type R. I know I would have had a hard time, but I would have had to go from OBD1 to OBD2. Trying to get around the would have proved pretty difficult. If you're buying an OBD2 motor, make sure you get the ECU and Wire Harness (if possible).

I liked my Type R, but I like my 100% legal USDM OBD1 BAR'd Integra motor better. It's a good feeling knowing that, if I get pulled over, a cop can't say anything about my motor.

i know its a TYPE R but it is a used motor that you have no idea how it was taken care of. if you have the lsvtec built properly it will be reliable. with the money your going to spend on an itr swap you will get way more power out of a freshly built lsvtec. good luck with watever you do.

Cadillacs, Beamers, Mercedes, Lexus, Infinity, and Bently get ladies.

Civics get girls at best. Even then you have to hang around a highschool and pick up on the ones that cant drive yet.
