Power Restriction in my Ej1 [d15b]
I jus got this coupe a few days ago so im in tha process.....
The car feels torque-less it feels as tho its running open header...how much off a difference would running a p28,gettin my header leak sealed and gettin vtec wired???

u wont get any power gain by simply switching to p28 ecu and d15b wont run right and smooth. do a tune up and connects every wires property and fix the exhaust leak. it might run better

no torque is a result of driving a honda. but seriously...it sound like a timing issue. it might be running a little rich but not to the point where the car feels powerless. try a p28 and see how it goes

you have a d15b and your running a ls ecu? wtf? get the correct ecu and yea if its the jdm d15b with vtec get it wired! thats why it runs like ****, everything was done half assed.
having just that stuff incorrect sounds like enough to make it feel "torque-less" .
do the general maintnence to it and get everything where it should be.

x2. a p28 is for a d16z6 and a d15b is almost the same thing except .1 liter off. sohc vtec for both motors and are relatively the same.

K jus got bak from Tampa...Left this morning for a Meet up there...ran it on a p28 wired up vtec and it feels alot smoother...i guess i had to take in consideration the fact that it had not ran for several months prior to me getting it started a week and a half ago
