Car Wont Start HELP !!!!!
Car Wont Start !!
D15. 92 CX
I parked the car last night. I woke up this morning to find a car that wont start; it cranks but is not starting. I checked the plugs and they ware full of oil!!! Took the VC off and replaced the O rings, Plugs, Wires and cleaned it out. It still won’t start. I checked for fuel pressure and fuel is being delived. I checked ECU fuse and its fine I cant think of what else it could be. The car does leak some oil from the head gasket could this be the problem? The last time I drove it was fine no white or black smoke.
Cliff notes:
Car wont start
Checked:
Sprk Plugs
Wires
Change Dyss Cap
Fuel pump works
ECU fuse OK
NEED HELP !!!!!!

I read you say you "checked" the spark plugs but are you getting spark at the plugs while cranking?
how old is the timing belt?
you should be able to take off the oil fill cap and see the cam turning while cranking.

start with the basics, check for spark, fuel, and compression. assuming you t-belt isnt broken, and your competent enough to propeerly check for fuel pressure, then i would assume no spark being your culprit. judging by the age of your car and the apparent randomness of this problem, it might be your ignition control module or distrubutor.
I had a similar problem recently, I decided to say F*** it and just replace the entire distributor. I found one at murrays auto parts for 150 bucks. It was a remanufactured one, but it came with the ICM, which by itself runs 60-120. If you got 150 bucks, I would say do that.
Check to be sure that there is power going through the ignition circuit. Could be an ignition switch or a main relay too. Check for spark, fuel pressure, and be sure that your cams are turning....go from there.
