Default trouble with my 96 civic ex

ok this is the problem i just sent my car to a guy to get my d16 y8 built from the bottom up these are the specs stock crank, stock rods, p29 pistons, hastings rings, all new bearings, whole gasket set, crower ti springs and retainers, crower stage 2 cam, new aftermarket water pump, walbro 190 psi fuel pump, 310 injectors, and phearable ecu. ok wel i got my car back last weekend and its started over heating about halfway home i limped it home and put a new thermostat in it and it still didnt fix it. the mechanic had it towed back to his house and replaced the head bolts and that didnt fix it he said the only thing he could think of is it being the head so he sent the head to a machine shop to check it i havent heard anything back from him yet so i just was goin to see what everyone else thinks about it

like it only started overheating when the motor reached operating temperature and then the coolant started boiling out of the overflow tank
