its not mine its a buddies. is a 96 ex with a d16 y8,vitara 11.5 to 1 pistons,crower stage 2 cam, ti valve springs and retainers,phearable ecu. Well this is were i need suggestions. We drove it maybe twenty miles and it started to get kinda hot. I must also mention it has a brand new water pump. We pulled over and realized the coolant boiled and sprayed out of the overflow. So i looked over it and couldnt visually see anything tht would cause this. My quess is the thermostat?? The car sat for about 2 months. I need your sugestions on what could cause this.

either just replaced both..builder is paying to car towed back to his shop.

yeah i know it man. so he payed to get it towed he lives a about 20 miles away. but he says hell work on it all night because he needs hes car to go visit family.
