((((PLEASE HELP)))) 91 si with b16 sputtering under accleration

I have a 91 si with a ob0 b16. My check engine light works. I also have no codes that im throwing. Just start a few days ago and has gotten progressively worse.Car idles fine with no irratic jumping up and down of any sort. But when givin gas it sputters it will still rev but sputters. Car sputters through every gear the more you get on the better, the more is sputters......i just put new sparks plugs in yesterday and it still runs the same. i switched out my distributor with one of my buddies and it didnt fix it. So i guess no cap,rotor,or ignitor problem. I pulled each spark plug wire out with car was running and each time it change they way it was running when pulled. which i guess means its running on all 4 cylnders....

Fuel problem maybe? My first inclination would be to check the pump, filter and injectors if the ignition system checked out.

Did your check engine light come on at all?

I guess start there and keep checking back for other people-who-are-smarter-than-me's suggestions/updating as you check other systems.

No check engine light has appeared yet. Someone had told me i could use brake cleaner to clean the injectors. Is this true?

My car was doing that too. It ended up being the original spark plug wires that came with the engine. I replaced them and it went away.
Also are you using the right injectors and ecu, and do you have a resistor box?

Check the ignition timing and whether the timing belt may have skipped some teeth.
