Help with b16 problem......
b16 into my 91 si....put her in started her up no codes ran perfect for 50 miles or so
Today while accelerating the engine just stopped for a second then started back up(it was still in gear) it got worse and worse until I could no longer restart the car at all....
I know its getting spark its got fuel at the rail, there is no codes at all
I took out the injectors and cleaned them off with brake cleaner and put them back in. Changed the fuel filter also. All it does when I start it is back fire a little bit......
thanks for your help

Re: Help with b16 problem...... (eraser)
This may sound 'stupid', but trust me. I've seen this exact problem.
Check your connections to the alternator, reseat the connectors to them, as well as MAKE SURE the bolt on there is tight and not stripped.
Your alternator may be bad and not delivering the full charge it needs.
